Connecticut Senators Joseph Lieberman and Richard Blumenthal greeted VFW Members in the US Capitol on Tuesday. Past Commander-in-Chief Edward Banas and senior department leaders discussed VFW’s priorities to include the VA disability rating system, mental and behavioral health with emphasis on post-traumatic stress and Traumatic Brain Injury. Both Senators pledged their continued support for veteran-friendly legislation.
Who's the guy in the second picture with his back to the camera (bottom right)?
ReplyDeleteThe first priority should be the determination of the how and why so many young soldiers and veterans choose suicide rather than life in the US. To determine the role of the Army and VA process and procedures regarding the bogus and arbitrary rating system.
ReplyDeleteIf the Army and the VA can't handle the situation in a timely and professional basis, they should be dismissed from the responsibility and civilian professionals should be acquired to do the job until the Army and VA can demonstrate capacity and capability.
The man in the lower right corner of the picture is Past Commander-in-Chief Ed Banas.
